In a post on the US PlayStation Blog Blog, Treyarch community manager Josh Olin has provided some details about the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack.
The first map pack, fittingly called Map Pack 1, will include three new multiplayer levels - Nightfire, Knee Deep and Station - all of which intend to bring some good variety to the currently available multiplayer maps, with settings ranging from the streets of Berlin (Nightfire), to the jungles of the Pacific (Knee Deep) and a bombed-out subway platform (Station). Nightfire is pictured below:
Another piece of content in Map Pack 1 expands on the bonus multiplayer Nazi Zombie mode found in World at War, with a new level called Verrückt (Zombie Asylum), which splits your team up as you fight off waves of undead Zombie soldiers. To aid you in your battle, you’ll have access to new weapons, new electroshock defence systems and a Perks-a-Cola Machine to buy multiplayer PERKS.
This new content will be released for Call of Duty: World at War in March.
