According to a Twitter post by Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, the Xbox LIVE Arcade version of Rare’s classic N64 first-person shooter, Perfect Dark, will be arriving on Xbox LIVE Marketplace “in a few months.” From his tweet:
“For those asking: Perfect Dark Zero will be coming to Arcade in a few months. That’s all the info I have.”
Even though Major Nelson did say Perfect Dark Zero (the Xbox 360 game), he later noticed his mistake and tweeted:
“Yes, I mean the original Perfect Dark…sorry, did not mean to have Zero on the end ;)”
A bunch of new screenshots from Perfect Dark XBLA have also been posted up on Rare’s official website, which you can wade through below, including some comparison shots to show you how much of a graphical improvement this new Xbox LIVE Arcade version of the game will be over the original:
