TIME magazine reveals its Top 10 videogames of 2009

Time Magazine LogoTIME magazine has released its Top 10 Everything of 2009, a collection of Top 10 lists in 50 wide-ranging categories including videogames.

While it may come as no surprise that Infinity Ward’s behemoth Modern Warfare 2 claimed the number 1 spot, you may be a bit baffled that Uncharted 2, the masterpiece from Naughty Dog, only squeezed in at number 10.

Batman: Arkham Asylum claimed second place while DJ Hero came in third, Borderlands at number 4 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii at number 5. Halo 3: ODST finished eighth and Assassin’s Creed II at number 9.

Wow, to say that I don't agree with most of their choices is a n understatement. Have no idea how they came to their descisions, but think they must leave gaming for someone else...

I'm with you on this one, Thys. For starters I definitely think that Uncharted 2 should have appeared a lot higher up the list.

I haven't played it yet but from what I've heard, it sounds awesome. a LOT of peoples GOTY. Some really weird choices there...

I'm glad about Batman, the hype and/or expectations for this game wasn't mind blowing but the actual game is! And where is Dragon Age.... :/
