Sega has released a new trailer for their upcoming third person action Bayonetta. The short gameplay trailer demonstrates a new mechanic called Witch Time.
Bayonetta is scheduled to be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 across the US on the 5th of January with a European release set for the 8th of January. The game was released across Japan on the 29th of October. The PS3 version debuted strongly at number 1 with 135 000 copies while the Xbox 360 version entered the chart at number 7 with 64 000 copies.
If you can’t wait until next year to play the new title, you can download a demo for the game on the 3rd of December. The demo will be released on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network across the US and Europe but Sega has remained mum on what the demo will include.
