Team17 Software are giving Worms fans the chance to design a fort and have it added into the Xbox 360 version of Worms 2: Armageddon.
In case you haven’t tried it yet, the Fort mode sees players battling it out on a landscape made up of two Forts located opposite one another. With players Worms placed on their chosen Fort, the last team standing wins!
To enter, send an image outlining your Fort as well as a brief description of how your Fort should look to Team17 at pr@team17.com with the subject Worms Fort Competition. You can enter as many times as you like, but make sure you do so by the 27th of November. The winner will be revealed on the 30th of November and the winning Fort reworked by Team 17 artists and included in the game.
See the ‘Ice castle’ style fort with stalactites coming down in sections as an example. Here are a few tips for what makes this particular Fort a good idea:
- A chunky fort (capable of taking lots of damage)
- Good access (to move your worms around the fort to chosen areas)
- Multiple fire points (to attack your enemy from)
- Awkward shapes (to help repel enemy projectile weapons such as grenades etc)
- Plenty of cover (to avoid air-strikes and the like)
