From information provided to consumer site IGN, the classic arcade side-scrolling beat ‘em up, Final Fight, will be making a comeback early next year in the form of a high definition remake.
This game will form part of a double-pack of classic Capcom games entitled Final Fight: Double Impact, the other title being the fantasy beat ‘em up Magic Sword, both of which will become available in April of next year on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, and support the obligatory online leaderboards and online play with a drop-in cooperative ability.
The dual release will contain two graphics modes, one of which will display the art from the original arcade games, while the other (according to an IGN source) will “make the games shine in crisp and clear HD glory.”
