LucasArts has just released a patch for the PC version of the intriguing puzzle platformer Lucidity, promising that a patch for Xbox 360 gamers would be coming in the following weeks.
Since the game launched on Xbox Live Arcade and PC via digital download on the 7th of October, many gamers have been complaining about the difficulty and lack of checkpoints in the game.
The publisher believed that it had balanced the game: “we designed the levels to be fairly short and the restarts as quick as possible and we felt that the game would be fine without checkpoints.” However, they have since admitted that perhaps they did underestimate the challenge.
For this reason they have released an update for the PC version of Lucidity which includes the addition of checkpoints. “We feel that there is so much great content in Lucidity that we want to open it up and make it more accessible for people to experience. So we have decided to create an update.”
