The first screenshots and gameplay videos released for next year’s re-imagining of the classic Splatterhouse were what some people would call ‘underwhelming,’ with a palpable lack of imagination and creative drive.
These new screenshots for Splatterhouse, for whatever reason, seem eminently more impressive, with more detail and what seems to be more ‘oomph’ injected into the shots, but that’s just me.
Could this be attributed to the change in developers, or were the previous screenshots just poorly captured, or taken from a very early build of the game? In any event, the new ones finally look as though there’s a proper game beneath the surface, and you can have a look at them for yourself below:
Splatterhouse is schedule to release on the Xbox 360 and PS3 early next year.
