The launch of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game is growing ever nearer, with release dates of December 1st and 4th set for North America and Europe respectively, which is less than a week away.
To get better acquainted with a lesser known aspect of Avatar: The Game, the multiplayer, Ubisoft has been kind enough to release a trailer showcasing some footage from this mode, as well as some screenshots to have a look at.
From the looks of the trailer, the multiplayer is fast, furious and explosive, and it’ll be interesting to see what kinds of strengths and weaknesses each of the playable races will have, and how those differences affect the outcome of online matches.
You can read El33tonline’s hands-on preview of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game to get a better understanding of what you’ll encounter in the singleplayer campaign, and watch the included trailer and continue browsing the screenshots to see what you can expect from the multiplayer:
Also be sure to give a listen to El33tonline’s conversation with Avatar’s art/animation director, Brent George – it’s well worth it!
