Developers The Behemoth have released a new development video to prove they are still hard at work on the PSN version of Castle Crashers.
Here’s how the Painter Boss came to life: “The picture [below] shows the progression of the Painter Boss from it’s original conceptual form drawn by Tom Fulp to it’s final menacing overall wearing evil painter dude version. Sometimes Tom will have an idea for a boss that will require him to draw a placeholder image for Dan to base his version off of (or as we like to call it programmer art). A lot of the times the original looks nothing like the end result and this is one of those examples.”
Watch the dev video below to see the Painter Boss taking shape. This video was sped up because the original version was hours long. And stay tuned because The Behemoth promised more updates about Castle Crashers for the PSN soon, as well as an awesome announcement for Game #3 in December.
