EA’s latest current generation racer, Need For Speed: Shift, will soon be receiving brand new downloadable content (DLC) entitled the Team Racing Pack, which includes a new race mode and a host of classic cars, all for the low low price of free.
The new racing mode is an online affair which sees two teams of up to six racers each competing for top honours, requiring players to eschew their normal racing tactics and use team strategy to come out on top.
The new cars heading to Need For Speed: Shift in the Team Racing Pack, on the other hand, comprise a list of names racing enthusiasts are sure to recognise, such as the following:
- 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427
- 1967 Shelby GT-500
- 1969 Dodge Charger R/T
- 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T
- 1998 Toyota Supra Mark IV
This new DLC, the Team Racing Pack for Need For Speed: Shift, will be available for free on December 1st on Xbox LIVE Marketplace worldwide, while PS3 users in Europe will get it on December 3rd, and North American PS3 users will be able to download the pack on December 10th.
