The Media Create hardware results for the week ending the 15th of November have been released and show that the PSP is the best-selling console in Japan. The PSP sells a combined total of 45 197 units (down roughly 2 500 units from last week), with the PSP contributing 38 770 and the PSPgo 6 427.
The Nintendo DS is not too far behind with 38 785 units, but drops quite substantially from last week’s tally of 42 936. The DSi sells 33 749 units this week and the DS Lite 5 036.
The PS3 falls from its short-lived reign at the top of the hardware chart to number 2 with 38 498 units, dropping almost 10 500 units from last week’s 48 925. The Wii also experiences quite a large sales decrease with 26 764 units sold this week.
The Xbox 360 continues to limp along with 4 124 units while the PS2 rounds off the chart with 2 031 units, both down from last week’s sales of 4 679 and 2 066 units respectively.
