A new, Wii-exclusive title is set to take the idea of WiiMote accessories and plunge it into the darkest depths of your imagination.
The special edition of Baby and Me, the new Wii-exclusive title in question developed by 505 Games, comes standard with a baby doll… ‘peripheral,’ in which you insert your WiiMote controller. For what purpose, you ask?
Well, as you cradle the ‘baby’ in your arms, the ‘baby’ will emit giggling, gurgling or crying sounds through the WiiMote’s speaker. You may think that this is the height of the title’s appeal, but it gets better.
If you have a Wii Balance Board, you can rock the ‘baby’ to sleep, burp the ‘baby’ or teach the ‘baby’ to walk. Incredible.
The full list of ‘features’ for Baby and Me follows below:
- Your baby reacts by giggling, gurgling or crying through the Wii remote
- Ten Baby Mode games including feed baby & send baby to sleep
- Eight Play Mode games including rattle, catch, clap & balloons
- Balance Board support: rock baby to sleep, burp baby, teach baby to walk
- Customise baby with new clothes, accessories and playrooms
Baby and Me releases exclusively for the Wii on November 10th, which is going to make your decision over whether or not to buy Modern Warfare 2 just that much more difficult.

Oh my! This is definitely going to be ranked as a non-game.
I don't get the title of this article. Please explain how this "defiles humanity"?
if you shake it will it die? Can you starve it to death? Is there a breast feeding option? (there should be! *formula is poison and you're a bad bad evil person and mother if you use it!)
*that is a joke based on some parenting boards that go way overboard on the issue.
i love you honey
The word 'Defile' according to Dictionary.com
Maybe I'm just strange, but I look at products like this and think: "Man, what would our alien overlords think about this if they ever found out about it."
They would be pretty bemused, and in my opinion, would think less of humanity for it.
That's a bit of a disturbing insight into a tick of my thought processes. I'm sorry you had to read it.
I admit this would be a great toy for young girls, and is even a clever use of the WiiMote and Balance Board, but there's just something that irks me about it, over and above the standard baby dolls that cry and giggle and wet themselves etc. Those are creepy to me.
Awesome. Great way to encourage teen pregnancy by teaching young girls that babies are just soooooooooo easy to take care of. Great.
Well. Atleast its not a doll you stick your Wii in.... Yet... As truly disturbing as it is, it would be oh so easy at this point to develop a sex doll game that you stick the Wii mote in and ride around... Just think, it could talk dirty through the speaker, score you with the internal gyro's, and demand position changes, all the while a 3d couple poses and gyrates on the screen... As long as they dont use the figures from Wii Bowl, I think it'll be safe to say that would sink far lower than the current game.
Hmm.. Seems a baby sim doll isnt anywhere near what would truly defile humanity afterall... Nothing compares to the human imagination...
"defiles" humanity
??
Yes, yes, I admit that using the word 'defiles' followed directly by the word 'humanity' was a bit extreme, but it was the first sentence that jumped into my head, and despite trying to think of something else, it clung there and I ran with it.
Baby and Me doesn't 'defile humanity,' it simply makes me, personally, question humanity.
Tyler—take that a step further and forget about the sex doll—just put the thing in a condom or a 'specially designed fornidevice', break out the balance board, trampoline, case of gatorade and you are good to go.
