The 27th annual Golden Joystick Awards has crowned last year’s excellent Fallout 3 as the Ultimate Game of the Year, while Activision Blizzard walked away with the Publisher of the Year award.
Games eligible for recognition at this year’s Golden Joystick Awards had to have been released between May 22, 2008 and May 22, 2009, which means that, while more recent titles weren’t on the voting ballots, there was still a wealth of quality titles to consider, as popular UK retailers and successful UK developers were also up for nomination.
