Capcom has announced that its popular Ace Attorney series will be debuting on WiiWare next year.
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney will be the first game to be released, sometime in January 2010, followed by Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations. Each game will cost 1000 Wii Points or $10.
The series, first released in Japan, has now sold over 3.7 million units worldwide. Wii owners will now be able to enjoy the courtroom drama in their living rooms, stepping into the shoes of Phoenix Wright, as they collect evidence, sift out inconsistent testimonies and strive for justice. Simply wave the Wii Remote to present evidence, or press witnesses by wiggling it.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (episodes 1 to 4) sees the legal eagle defending his mate Larry Butz on a murder charge. Gamers will also be able to download the bonus episode from the original DS version of the game in May for 100 Wii Points. Justice for All follows in March and sees Phoenix facing off against the ruthless Franziska von Karma while he goes up against Godot in Trials and Tribulations in May.
