Robert Bowling (of Infinity Ward Creative Strategy infamy) posted up a message on his Twitter account to let everybody know that the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2 recently received its third update in the form of patch 1.03.

This 15MB patch now allows PS3 users to invite friends into multiplayer lobbies – an option that was previously giving players some troubles:

“Some late night #MW2 tweaks just went into affect,” Bowling posted. “IWNet matchmaking on PC just got improvements & invites on PSN are good to go now. Gnight.”

Modern Warfare 2 has predictably fulfilled its sales and expectations prophecy, and according to internal sales data provided by publisher Activision, the title sold a stunning 4.7 million units during its first day on sale, and grossed an enormous $310 million, making it the biggest ever launch of an entertainment product.

IT's sad to see that the PC Format (namely the one that created this developer's success) is put last on the to-do list. Congrats on having your voices heard Consolers. You are the market now.

EveryotherPCGamer

Why cant the developer answer the queries on the PC title. There's news right there! Check their forums. PATCH DEDICATED SERVERS IN!

Pablo
