Media Create Japanese Software sales for week ending 27/09: Halo ODST debuts in Top 10

Tomodachi Collection BoxshotNintendo’s Tomodachi Collection climbs five places to take the top spot on the Media Create Japanese Software Chart, selling 96 584 copies for the week ending the 27th of September.

Pokemon HeartGold remains in second place with 67 911 copies while Pokemon SoulSilver drops two spots to third with 64 083 copies. The two popular Pokemon DS titles both cross the million sales mark in just three weeks on the chart.

Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 drops to number 4 with 48 642 copies after debuting at number 3 last week while last week’s number 4, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Portable 4 for the PSP, drops to number 5 with 41 929 copies.

Wii Sports Resort re-enters the Top 10 at number 6 with 36 422 copies and SaGa 2 Legendary Secret Treasure for the DS drops to number 7 in its second week on the chart. Dragon Quest IX climbs one place to number 8 with 30 086 copies.

Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360 debuts at number 9 with 29 734 copies, this week’s only new entry in the Top 10. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Tag Force 4 for the PSP drops three places to number 10 with 14 101 copies.
