THQ has announced that its upcoming action adventure Darksiders will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 across the UK on the 8th of January 2010.

Developed by internal studio Vigil Games, Darksiders sees players stepping into the role of War, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Players then explore a world set “100 years after the biblical Apocalypse, traveling through expansive dungeons, battling demons and angels and striking deals with unsavory characters in an epic quest to restore the balance between Heaven and Hell.”
