EA recently announced that their next Need For Speed title, Nitro, has gone gold and will be releasing on the Wii and DS early next month in North America and Europe, and to mark the occasion, the official list of songs that comprise the game’s soundtrack has been released.
Need For Speed: Nitro looks like a blast to play, and seems to take the best parts of previous entries to the series, such as the extreme speed and arcade fun, and wrap them up in a package that is even more arcadey, colourful and stylised.
As for the soundtrack, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing at EA, Steve Schnur said:
“This soundtrack musically exemplifies the intensity, attitude and adrenaline of Need for Speed NITRO. This energetic collection of rock, electronic and hip hop, matches the incredible speed and intensity of a game experience players will never forget.”
Need For Speed: Nitro releases on November 3rd in North America and November 6th in Europe on Wii and DS, so while you wait to get your hands on the title, flick your eyes down the list of songs featured in the official soundtrack:

Comments:
What a great soundtrack - The Bloody Betroots are amazing, Major Lazer always brings it, and my favorite driving song of all-time, "Oye Vaya" by Earl Greyhound also made the cut. It's nice to see how much progress video game soundtracks have made over the years because I used to always turn off the sound, but now soundtracks like this actually enhance the gameplay experience. Kudos, EA.
In this title, in fact, the player finds himself having to run at incredible speed paths through citizens beaten by police cars, while at the same time to bite the dust to their opponents and at the same time ... May the buildings with their own graffiti . Yes, you read that right. Action typical of arcade driving games, in Need For Speed: Nitro you add that "touch of color" in more that never hurts.
