In an extremely surprising turn of events, Fifa 10 has managed to stave off a chart attack by last week’s behemoth of a game, Uncharted 2, remaining in the No. 1 position on Chart Track’s UK Software Sales Chart for the third week in a row.
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising makes a valiant effort of staying in the Top Ten this week, shifting down to No. 3 from No. 2, while Wii Sports Resort shifts up to No. 4 from No. 5 last week.
Another debut title, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, sits at No. 5 in its first week on sale, as Need For Speed: Shift steps down to No. 6 from No. 3 last week.
Yet another debut title, Brutal Legend from Double Fine and EA Partners, hits No. 7 during its first week (two days) on sale, Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box slides down to No. 8 this week from No. 4, Halo 3: ODST tumbles to No. 9 from No. 6 last week, and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition slips into the Top Ten on its debut sales week.
