Creat Studios has announced that Mushroom Wars will be available on the PlayStation Network tomorrow, the 15th of October, for $9.99. And the good news is that it will be available for both North America and Europe!
Mushroom Wars is a real time strategy game where players send their “cute armies into battle, upgrade [their] mushroom bases, improve [their] weaponry and fight skirmishes in close-quarter maps.” Players can either play against the AI or against friends in the 25 levels in the Campaign mode (ranging from the meadow to the forest and even the foothills of mushroom land), or jump right into the heat of the battle with the 18 levels in Skirmish mode.
The number of AI opponents increases as you progress through the levels but three difficulty settings ensure that you can tone it down a bit if you can’t handle three AI mushroom armies. You and a buddy can even duke it out in local multiplayer.
In Mushroom Wars you can play shorter campaigns with Domination objectives where you will try to take control of strategic points, or Conquest battles where you have to annihilate your opponent to win.
