Microsoft and Lionhead Studios have announced that the first DLC for Fable II, Knothole Island, will be released worldwide on Xbox Live on the 13th of January.

Located just off the coast of Albion, Knothole Island will feature new quests, characters, shops, items and weapons. It will be available for 800 Microsoft Points.

Fable II fans can also look forward to a free content update which will become available on Xbox Live Marketplace on the 13th of January. The free update will give players gifts from the inhabitants of Knothole Island including Knight’s Boots, Assassins Gloves, a collectible silver book and even a special Weight Loss Potion. You will be able to access 50 new leaderboards on Lionhead.com if you get the new update.

You will also be able to download a new Knothole Island Premium Theme for the New Xbox Experience. It will cost 250 Microsoft Points.
