In what seems like an effort by Microsoft to stamp the Xbox 360 brand onto Resident Evil 5 in Japan, a new Xbox 360 bundle has been revealed with full Resident Evil 5 regalia.
The bundle includes a 60GB hard drive, the Resident Evil 5 deluxe edition (with the collector’s edition tin and soundtracks) and a 48 hour Gold LIVE trial account, all at a price of ¥34,800 or $373.
Another bundle, the Star Ocean 4 Xbox 360 bundle, also appears to be an attempt at the same goal, trying to link the Xbox 360 brand with a popular game series in Japan, where Microsoft hope to make even more strides in building the Xbox name. This bundle comes with the game’s soundtrack and a faceplate (for a price of ¥24,800 $265).
The Star Ocean 4 bundle is set to release on February 19th in Japan (the game releases March 3rd in the US), while the Resident Evil 5 bundle releases March 5th (the game releases on March 10th in the US and March 13th in the UK and Europe).

That RE5 bundle is damn hot! It would be even better with a faceplate...that Star Ocean 4 faceplate is cool!
Calm down little one... you don't want to tip your bundle and scratch your disc and have your 360 RROD on you when you put little Humpty Dumpty upright again. ;)
Xbox 360 = cheap.
I'll pass on the 360 bundles... no way M$ is getting any of my money with that shoddy hardware... Star Ocean = Meh... Resident Evil 5 = Lame AI Babysitting Missions... had enough with Res4...
Those bundles Blow... maybe cool if you're the Comic Book Guy or 12 years old. Now and Alan Wake or Splinter Cell bundle... now THAT would be sick!
