Nintendo’s Wii Play: Mario Power Tennis has topped the Japanese software chart for a second consecutive week. The latest Media Create figures show that the reworked GameCube title is still popular with 31 000 copies sold for the week ending the 25th of January.
Namco Bandai’s Fragile for the Wii debuts at number 2 with 26 000 copies while Taiko no Tatsukin Wii, also from Namco Bandai, re-enters the Top 10 at number 3 with 25 000 copies. Koei’s Zill O’ll Infinite Plus for the PSP is this week’s second new entry, debuting at number 4 with 25 000 copies.
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (Best) is still in fifth place with 25 000 copies while Nintendo’s Rhythm Tengoku Gold is still selling well in sixth with 20 000 copies. Nintendo’s Wii Fit moves up from last week’s number 9 to number 7 with 19 000 copies and Dissidia Final Fantasy from Square Enix drops four spots to number 8 with 18 000 copies.
Atlus’ Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor for the DS drops to number 9 with 18 000 copies after debuting at number 2 last week. Nintendo’s Wagamama Fashion: Girl’s Mode moves down two places, rounding off the Top 10 with 17 000 copies.
Naruto: Narutimate Storm drops from its debut at number 3 last week to number 14 while DS Uranai Seikatsu moves down five places to number 15 and Fallout 3 loses ground from last week’s number 7 to this week’s number 18.
