Sony has finally stamped confirmation on a UK release date for Killzone 2. Guerrilla Games’ highly anticipated shooter will launch across the UK on the 27th of February.

The game will also be available packed inside a new 80GB PS3 bundle for £299.99 on launch day.

Sony has not yet announced whether a European demo for the game will be available. North American gamers can look forward to a demo, either as part of a special GameStop pre-order deal on the 2nd of February or on the PlayStation Network a day before release on the 26th.

Earlier Sony announced that Killzone 2 had gone gold in the US so it looks like it will be arriving on shelves before the end of February.
