Konami has announced Marbles! Balance Challenge, its first game designed to be compatible with the Wii Balance Board.
Described as a “skills-based action title,” Marbles! Balance Challenge sees players helping an ant called Anthony save his colony through various physical tests. Using the Wii Remote, players will steer a ball through 200 different stages in search of the Golden Sunflower Seed. If you have a Wii Balance Board you can access 100 specially-created stages where players steer a ball by shifting their weight.
The level designs become more complex as you progress in the game, introducing houses, mountains, deserts and space stations. Players will also need to collate parts needed to extend and repair the roads they travel on in order to gain access to the game’s final stage.
The game also includes multiplayer for four players on one console as well as an edit mode where you can create your own levels and share them online.
Marbles! Balance Challenge will be released for the Wii on the 30th of April 2009 for £24.99.
