While it was the North American’s that got a date confirmation last week (November 11th, in case you were wondering) this time, the release date for Call of Duty: World at War in the UK and Europe has been announced - November 14th is when you can expect to fill a variety of combat boots during World War II, battling it out in Europe and the Pacific.
It’s having one of those ‘all format’ releases, with the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and PS2 all covered, in one way or another. Multiplayer betas are also planned for the PC and Xbox 360, as Treyarch studio head, Mark Lamia, enthused:
“We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community. The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can’t wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch.”
