Today is an interesting day as far as game release news is concerned. Not only have some big titles come out today across the UK and Europe, other titles have had their release dates further cemented.
After Dead Space’s release date was pushed up earlier this week, it seems even that date wasn’t early enough for EA - Dead Space has been pushed up to October 14th in the US, probably to avoid Bioshock (on PS3) and LittleBigPlanet a week or so later. Call of Duty: World at War, meanwhile, has had its date announced in the US as well - November 11th is when North Americans will be able to play the next installment in the World War 2 series of games. Pretty brave, following up on Gears of War 2 on November 4th…
Releasing today across the UK and Europe, should you need reminding, are Spore (PC), Mercenaries 2 (PS3 and Xbox 360), Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise (Xbox 360), Infinite Undiscovery (Xbox 360) and EA’s new stylised boxing game, Facebreaker (PS3 and Xbox 360), amongst others. Quite a big day.
