The official website for Capcom’s Monster Hunter 3 (tri) is up.
Although the site is in Japanese, you can immerse yourself in loads of amazing screenshots and concept art for the game. The intro letter to the site reads as follows (Thanks to Capcom for the translation):
“Here, countless number of gigantic monsters form packs, fight over their territories, and carry out their daily activities in the complicated ecosystem.
There are people who hunt them as part of their life; they are called hunters.
We are about to set our feet in a new hunting world that no other man has ever seen…Welcome, to Monster Hunter 3 (tri).”
Monster Hunter 3 is the third installment in the popular Monster Hunter franchise and an original sequel to Monster Hunter 2. The game is scheduled to be released on the Wii in early 2009.

I've never played any of the Monster Hunter titles, unfortunately... maybe I should try to rectify that! ;)
i am very annoyed that monster hunter 3 is only coming out for wii and not psp or xbox 360! i have own a wii myself and i think it would not be a good consle for monster hunter to come out for!!!
Why don't you think Monster Hunter is suitable for Wii? Do you think it will be limited in some way?
