Telltale Games has announced that Sam & Max Season One for the Wii will be available across the US on the 7th of October. It will retail at $29.99. A European release date was promised soon.

Based on Telltale’s popular comedy series, Sam & Max for the Wii contains the first-six episode season of the games on one disc. Season One sees canine detective Sam and sidekick rabbit Max hunting down a mastermind behind a hypnosis conspiracy. Players will need to interrogate suspects, uncover clues and solve puzzles in order to reveal the mystery that links the episodes together.

Sam & Max features story-focused gameplay as well as a simple ‘point and click’ interface, making it ideal to both fans and those new to the series. The game also includes a new tutorial as well as technical improvements over the PC original such as widescreen support.

If you pre-order the game at GameStop you will receive a bonus content CD containing Sam & Max videos and other features.
