Previously known as White Knight Story, White Knight Chronicles is probably one of the reasons PlayStation 3 owners are, indeed, PlayStation 3 owners. If you’ve never heard of the game before and you happen to own a PS3, then you’re in for a treat.
White Knight Chronicles, currently still in development at Level-5 (Dark Cloud, Professor Layton, select Dragon Quest games) is an RPG using a real-time combat system in which you can freely choose to control any character in your party during a battle. Sequences shown so far reveal that the main character can transform into the ‘White Knight’ to inflict more damage on opponents. Other than that, not much is known about the game itself, except that it looks truly amazing. Check out an old video from the Tokyo Game Show last year to see if you agree.
Hopefully there’ll be more to see at TGS this year. White Knight Chronicles is reported to be releasing in Japan on the 25th of December, exclusively on the PlayStation 3.

Comments:
I've been looking forward to this game since it was first announced. It certainly looks awesome, and I like the way the combat seems to work. Since it's coming out on Christmas in Japan I'm sure we'll see it in the West about 6 months later.
By the way, I'm sure there are readers out there that have yet to get a PS3... I suggest you guys take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on where you can win a PS3 or Xbox 360 simply by designing a 6 Hour Power t-shirt. It's surprisingly easy to do, and right now there are less than 325 entrants. There are also weekly prizes to win like Rise of the Argonauts and 6 Hour Power energy shots. For contest details, go here: http://www.brickfish.com/Entertainment/Stacker2?tab=overview
By the way, I hope you don't mind me commenting on your post, Oliver. I work with 6HP so if you have any questions about the contest or the drink itself just let me know. Be sure to tell me if you guys enter too, and I'll definitely vote for your designs. Good luck.
