If you are a Smallville fan you will recognise 25 year old actress Kristin Kreuk who plays Clark Kent’s first girlfriend Lana Lang in the popular TV series.

Kreuk also landed the role of Chun Li in the upcoming Street Fighter live-action movie. When asked about her martial arts skills, she replied “Pretty decent. I did karate, dance and gymnastics when I was growing up so I was good at the wire work for the fight scenes.”

She spent five weeks training with stunt co-ordinators for the Street Fighter role. “I don’t know if I could kick your ass if we met on the street but I’m decent at looking like I’m good at fighting.”

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is scheduled to be released in 2009.
