The second expansion pack to the world-dominating World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King, has had an official release date stamped out, for all those salivating for a ton of new content, including new abilities, classes and quests.
November 13th is the day players in the Americas, Europe and Russia will get their hands on it, while on November 14th Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand will have their opportunity to snap it up. Other regions, including Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau will get it on November 18th. Almost a worldwide release. Are you going to a midnight release to get it as soon as it’s available? Already pre-ordered? If you’re a hardcore WoW fan, the thought has at least crossed your mind, surely.
Blizzard co-founder Mike Morhaime said of the release, “We’re looking forward to launching Wrath of the Lich King and finally giving World of Warcraft players a chance to take on Arthas and his minions. Until then, we’ll continue to refine and playtest the expansion content to make sure it provides a highly polished and entertaining experience.”
