Dead Space coming early

Dead Space, a new entry to the survival horror genre coming from EA, has had its release date moved up by a week, due to early completion. It will now release on October 24th on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, although the PC version is still set for October 31st, or Halloween, as EA had originally intended.

Dead Space is looking pretty exciting, or pretty disturbing, depending on how you look at it. All alone on a monstrous space vessel, aimlessly floating about in the dark, you need to figure out what happened to the crew while battling extremely persistent enemies - taking off their head with a well-placed shot, for example, won’t always finish them off. You can have a look at a trailer here, although it’s extra creepy - you’ve been warned!
