Japanese Sales Data: Media Create hardware sales for 28/7 – 3/8
The PSP has once again topped the Japanese charts, although the Nintendo DS has closed the gap between the two quite considerably.
The PSP sold 61 181 units, while the DS followed closely with 57 398 units. This means just 3 700 units separate the two handhelds. The PSP dropped substantially from last week’s 67 452 while the DS climbed above last week’s 56 968 total.
The Wii is selling steadily at 41 109 while the PS3 dropped slightly to 9 508 units. The PS2 came next with 9 045 while the Xbox 360 continues to climb up the sales ladder with 5 359 units.
The software chart this week was a cracker so make sure you don’t miss it.
