Headed by the creator of Killer 7 and No More Heroes, Suda 51, this new game is looking very interesting…if a little bizarre, with some ‘great’ localisation included for kicks. If you’re looking for another DS detective game, “The search culminates here.”

Apparently based on a PS2 game that was only ever released in Japan, this Nintendo DS exclusive will be the first chance Western players will get to play as a detective that needs to unravel the mysteries around him (while finding and defusing a bomb) before he goes insane. Some have likened the experience to an old-school adventure game and almost in the same vein as the Phoenix Wright games. The DS touch-screen will be used to solve the ‘thought provoking puzzles.’

Flower Sun and Rain will be available in October on DS.
