The new 160GB PS3 unveiled at Leipzig will be available across North America as part of a new limited edition Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune bundle. The bundle will be available in November for $499.99.
The bundle will include a copy of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, a PSN voucher for PAIN and a Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller. SCEA also confirmed that the previously announced 80GB PS3 has started shipping to retailers. It will be available for $399.99.
According to SCEA, PS3 momentum has soared in 2008 thanks to Blu-ray becoming the HD standard and the launch of key franchises including Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Grand Theft Auto IV and Metal Gear Solid 4. Sony anticipate that this momentum will continue into the holidays and beyond with their line-up including PS3 exclusives such as Buzz! Quiz TV, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, MotorStorm Pacific Rift and Killzone 2.
“As PLAYSTATION Network continues to evolve with our recently launched video delivery service and more exclusive games, PS3 owners are demanding more storage capacity,” said Jack Tretton, president and CEO, SCEA.
“Consumers also are utilizing PS3 as an entertainment hub for their digital media, placing content such as their entire music collection on the hard drive. The 160GB PS3 system addresses this growing consumer demand in a compelling bundle that delivers significant value.”

I think this is a great deal for those still looking to get a PS3. I imagine it will be tough to get since it's coming out during the holiday season, though.
Lisa, I imagine you already have a PS3 but some of the readers likely don't. If you still haven't gotten a PS3, I suggest taking a look at this Stacker 2 t-shirt designing contest going on where you can win a PS3 or Xbox 360 (your choice), along with a copy of Rise of the Argonauts, a year's supply of 6 Hour Power energy shots, and ten t-shirts with your design on it.
