Street Fighter Alpha landing on PSN this week
Capcom has announced that Street Fighter Alpha will be available as a new PSone Classics game for download on the PlayStation Network this Thursday.
Capcom promised a surprise announcement relating to Street Fighter early this week and the publisher certainly has delivered. Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors’ Dreams (known as Street Fighter Zero to some SF fans) hit the arcades in 1995 and was released on the PlayStation in 1996.
Alpha featured a new art style, animation and game play additions. The game brought together a cast of 13 characters from the collective SF universe including Ryu, Chun-Li and Ken. The inaugural title in the series introduced super combos and alpha counters.
