Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars revealed for PSN

Psyonix Studios has announced Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, an arena-based online vehicle sports game for the PlayStation Network.

Apart from bringing together animated vehicles in sports-like game play, the game boasts being one of the longest named games ever online.

Players will be able to launch high into the air, rolling, flipping or spinning their cars in the air, or accelerate at break-neck speed on the ground thanks to physics-based maneuverability and boosters. The game is team-based and you will see the soccer-inspiration when you use your vehicle to save goals, attempt to score and take out opponent’s cars.

In addition to team and league play, you will be able to track your statistics, keep an eye out for rankings and rewards and even upload videos to YouTube. The game also features mini-games and single player matches as well as team and league matches and scrimmage matches online. Best of all Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars will feature trophies!

“It takes a pretty special game to carry such a lengthy title and be able to hold its head high amongst games with much shorter names,” commented Dave Hagewood, Director of Development at Psyonix Studios. “Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about fitting this title on a package.”

Expect to see Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars on the PlayStation Network in early autumn.
