The new Gamer Lobby website has just launched, replacing thexboxlounge.co.za.
Sporting a new layout and design, the website enables you to create matches more easily thanks to new systems. Although gamers will be able to create and join matches in a similar way to The Xbox Lounge, making a match should be easier with the controls now on the front of the page for match creators. Gamer Lobby hopes this will make logging gamers into a lobby faster.
Gamer Lobby is run by Devon Stanton (aka koldFU5iON) and Grant Merwitz (aka DriftZilla). Here’s the lowdown on the name change from Devon. “We changed the name for a lot of reasons, the main reason was for growth and expansion. We’re going to be expanding our reach and collecting more online communities, we don’t want to be seen as an Xbox 360 only site, and we want our system to be used across the board.”
Keep an eye on www.gamerlobby.net because this is just Phase 1 with new features in the pipeline. Although the pair handles the website in their free time, the next phase should be coming soon.
