Four new Nintendo DS games will soon be landing on South African shores.
According to the SA Nintendo website, 42 All-Time Classics, Metroid Prime Hunters, Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl as well as Super Princess Peach will be available “in the very near future.”
This is great news for Nintendo fans and a sign that Core Gaming is looking to expand the DS gaming portfolio.
We have contacted Core Gaming so stay tuned for more details and specific launch dates.
Until then, here is a taste of what the new games are all about.
42 All-Time Classics combines various card and board games, challenging gamers to test their skills in draughts, poker, billiards or even backgammon. Step up and see how your dart skills compare to other players in the multiplayer mode. Metroid Prime Hunters sees Samus Aran facing six rivals in a race to discover various artifacts. The game features touch-screen control and 3D graphics.
Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl are two RPG games developed exclusively for the DS. The games feature online play over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Touch Screen game play as well as over 100 new Pokémon. Super Princess Peach is a platformer that tips the scales somewhat, with Princess Peach setting out to rescue Mario after Bowser kidnaps him.
