Call of Duty: World at War is a continuation of the WWII direction of the series, featuring co-operative play for up to four players or two-player split-screen. The campaigns include both a European theatre of war as well as the battles that took place in the South Pacific against the Japanese. As a result, you’ll have to contend with Kamikaze fighters, ambush attacks, Banzai charges and cunning cover tactics.

World at War also features an enhanced Call of Duty 4 engine with the same multiplayer ranking and achievement system that made CoD 4 so popular online. At the least, it’ll be addictive and graphically dazzling.

Call of Duty: World at War (don’t call it number five!) will be available across all platforms later this year.
