Wario is back and continuing his quest for treasure in Wario Land: The Shake Dimension.

Wario Land: The Shake Dimension is Wario’s first dedicated escapade on the Wii. This 2D platform adventure promises classic Wario puzzle-filled action when it launches across Europe on the 26th of September.

The game sees players setting out on a journey across various continents in search of loot. Wario must rescue Queen Merelda from Shake King, a notorious pirate leader. But has Wario changed his ways or is he really after the Bottomless Coin Sack?

The game includes a new cast of characters and five different maps featuring missions and challenges. Players will need to complete the challenges set out in missions at the beginning of each stage, for example finish a stage within a time limit or collect a specified number of coins. Keep a look out for hidden treasures in each stage to get your hands on special items and unlock additional stages.

Hold the Wii Remote sideways, shaking it to activate Wario’s special moves. Wario will perform a Ground Punch to stun enemies or enter new areas if you shake it when on solid ground. If you are holding an enemy or bag of loot shake the Wii Remote to spill the contents or tilt it when Wario is at the wheel to drive different vehicles. You can even spend your coins at the Pirate Shop to buy items, new maps and videos.
