Crave Entertainment, known for a host of poker and kids’ entertainment games, have released information on a batch of new games to be shown at E3.
First up we have Defendin’ de Penguin, a real-time strategy (RTS) for Wii and DS, releasing this month. It follows the story of Little Blue, trying to protect his town’s fish supply by using defensive strategies, placing towers to attack and ward off hungry creatures. A tower defence game for Nintendo’s consoles?
Ford Racing: Off Road, meanwhile, is (you guessed it) an off-road racing game for Wii, PS2 and PSP, using Ford and Land Rover production vehicles, allowing you to race through a variety of tracks including forests, mountainous terrain and snow-covered landscapes. Ford Racing: Off Road releases this month.
What else does Crave have in store, you ask?
King of Clubs, that’s what! A stylised miniature golf game for Wii, King of Clubs is due for release in August, facing players off against some pretty zany characters, such as ‘Bubba the Elvis impersonator.’ Each course provides a variety of routes to completion, allowing players to try get a hole-in-one with a range of intricate methods, using moving obstacles to your advantage.
Lastly there’s PBR Out of the Chute - The Official Game of the “Toughest Sport on Dirt.” Finally, a Pro Bull Rider game for the Wii and PS2! In PBR, you get to play either as your favourite Pro Bull rider or take on a friend in multiplayer, playing as the bull trying to shake riders off and going on a rampage! PBR Out of the Chute is expected this October.
