Nintendo of America has announced that Wario Land: Shake It! will be released across North America on the 29th of September. European gamers will get the game a few days earlier on the 26th of September, although the game is known as Wario Land: The Shake Dimension in PAL land.

A side-scroller for the Wii, Wario Land: Shake It! stars Wario, “the smelly, bad-mannered alter ego of Mario.” Players will use the Wii Remote turned sideways like an old school controller, shaking it to help Wario defeat his enemies, empty treasure bags and cause earthquakes.

The game includes numerous stages that offer multiple missions which will have players returning to unlock more, collect more coins and improve their best times.
