Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit for the PS3 has topped the Japanese software chart for the week ending the 8th of June. The PS3 title debuted at number 1 with 92 000 copies ahead of Sega’s Mysterious Dungeon: Fuurai no Shiren 3 for the Wii which debuts at number 2 with 59 000 copies.
Konami’s Powerful Pro Baseball Portable 3 for the PSP drops from last week’s number 1 to number 3 with 43 000 copies. Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii loses one place to number 4 with 39 000 copies while Tecmo’s DS Misa Yamamura Suspense: Kyoto Murder Files is new at number 5 with 38 000 copies.
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G for the PSP drops one place to number 6 with 35 000 copies while Nintendo’s Wii Fit loses three places to settle in seventh with 34 000 copies. The two titles continue to battle it out in terms of life-to-date sales - Wii Fit is still ahead with 2.19 million while MHP2G trails with 2.177 million copies.
Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden 2 for the Xbox 360 debuts at number 8 with 25 000 copies while Namco Bandai’s Family Trainer for the Wii drops from last week’s number 6 to number 9 with 15 000 copies. Nintendo’s DS Beautiful Letter Training rounds off the top ten, up two places with 15 000 copies.
Marvelous Entertainment’s Valhalla Knights 2 for the PSP drops from last week’s number 8 to number 11 while the Xbox 360 version of Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit debuts at number 12.
Benesse’s Empty Space Training for the DS drops to number 14 while Namco Bandai’s Endless Frontier: Super Robot Wars OG Saga for the DS plummets to number 15 (last week’s numbers 10 and 2 respectively). Namco Bandai’s 99 Tears debuts at number 23 while Gust’s Mana Khemia 2: The Fallen School and the Alchemists for the PS2 drops from last week’s number 9 to number 26.
