XBLA: Wits & Wagers this week
This week’s Xbox Live Arcade offering is Wits & Wagers. It will be available this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft Points.
Developed by Hidden Path Enertainment, Wits & Wagers is described as a ‘fun trivia party game where you don’t need the right answers to win.’ Players will bet on the answer that they think is closest to the truth in seven rounds of questions. Made educated guesses, take a chance with the odds or use your knowledge of your competitors to win.
The game is 15 minutes and includes over 700 questions. Up to four players can duel it out on one console while up to six can play online. The game supports the Xbox Live Vision Camera as well as the Big Button Pad controller.

You might be interested to know that Wits & Wagers was originally a board game that went nationwide at Target in 2007. It won more industry awards than any other party game in history, which is why it is coming out on the Xbox. A preliminary contract has already been signed to turn Wits & Wagers into a TV game show.
Wits & Wagers is more about betting on the answers of your friends than answering trivia. That is why we bill it as “trivia for people who don’t know stuff”.

Sounds kinda interesting. Might check out the board game too if the arcade version piques my interest.
Thanks for popping by and sharing this information with us. The game sounds great and I look forward to checking it out!
