The PS3 demo for Codemasters’ Overlord Raising Hell arrives on the PlayStation Network today.
Developed by Triumph Studios, Overlord Raising Hell is scheduled to be released on the PS3 across PAL territories on the 20th of June. It will arrive on North American shores on the 24th of June.
A hellishly good time being bad
The playable demo sees players stepping into the shoes of the Overlord and wreaking destruction on the once tranquil Mellow Hills. Build your Minion horde by using your loyal Minions to gather life-force from sheep, upgrade their protection by deploying pumpkins as helmets, intimidate some peasants and face the Guard Troll at the Slave Camp. All in a day’s work for the Overlord.
The full game allows players to amass armies of up to 50 minions and select from three additional minion types to lead into battle as you seek to explore and conquer five kingdoms.
The game includes additional hellish levels as well as online cooperative play and split-screen head-to-head action. The PS3 version features a new on-screen mini-map as well as 7.1 surround sound and detailed visuals.
