Capcom has announced that We Love Golf will feature online modes when it is released in the West, making it the first online capable golf game for the Wii. We Love Golf is scheduled to be released this summer.
The game will include various online features including World Play Mode (play random players online and collect player medals for your wins) and Friend Play (play with a friend from your Wii Friend list). The new online modes were not included in the Japanese version of the game when it was released in December last year.
In addition players will be able to play online with their Miis. The western version will also feature two new exclusive characters along with unlockable Capcom character costumes (for example, Chun-Li, Jill Valentine and Arthur).
Created by Camelot Software Planning, We Love Golf promise a realistic golfing experience for players of all ages thanks to its easy-to-navigate menus, stylized visuals and the Wii Remote’s motion sensing functionality. Players will need to gauge wind conditions, select the correct clubs and read the greens to emerge victorious.
