Ubisoft has announced that it will be publishing My Health Coach: Weight Management for the Nintendo DS in summer 2008.
The game was developed in Ubisoft’s Montreal Studio under the guidance of a fitness coach and nutritionist. My Health Coach: Weight Management is a new and innovative way to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The game also introduces an exclusive accessory, the pedometer, which will be included with each copy of the game. Players will be able to record their daily activity with the pedometer by slotting it into the DS at the end of the day, where your results will be transferred into your personalized health programme.
The game “has been designed to be an engaging and fun method to help reach and maintain a proper balance between the food you eat and the physical exercises you perform.” Unlike traditional exercise means and support, the game has been adapted to fit a modern lifestyle because gamers can always keep a copy of the game handy.
Featuring coaching sessions, daily challenges, mini-games and quizzes, the game is designed to help you and guide you to a healthier lifestyle in just 10 to 15 minutes each day. The game includes physical challenges, daily sessions as well as trivia games and hints and tips on nutrition and exercise.
